Dye Price Checks
I have a fair amount of dye and I'm looking to get rid of some of it. The problem is, I have no idea how much it's worth, so I'd like to get opinions so I know how much to try to sell it for.
I have (at least one of):
White
Silver
Red
Blue
Green
Purple
Brown
Yellow
Orange
No black yet, unfortunately
So, how much does each go for? (and anyone want one?)

check the dye trader....see what he sells them for then check to see what he will buy them from you for...then go inbetween those two prices and sale to others....alot of dye is hard to sell.

white will sell for -500 ish from the trader price, the rest, just sell to dye seller, probbly get 10g for more, a little more for silver, red and blue.

I'd rather sell to people than to dye traders 'cause 10g feels too low I'd give them for quite cheap to people (50 or so since trader charges about 100), but I'd rather not do 10 unless I have to. Still, thanks for the tips!

The normal Merchant buys them for 25 gold ea if all else fails
Usually it's possible to sell things to others at a price calculated from this formula:
(Trader sell price + trader buy price) / 2
(10 to sell 100 to buy = 55)

normal merchant pays 1g each.
it's usually not worth it to spend time trying to sell cheap dye imo, but if you if you feel that 10g is definitely too low, yang's right on how to calculate approximate prices for dye, but you'll have to be quite flexible since there's so much of it out there
